“The Notebook” is one of my favourite movies for fashion inspiration (after 500 days of summer!) It is set in the 40s and features a beautiful knee length shirtdresses, a couple of cute mini dresses and lots of colour. Rachel McAdams pulls of this look amazingly but these A-Line styles can also be quite flattering if you have a poochy tummy like me. Most of the actual wardrobe items are likely vintage and not available to purchase but modern versions of these styles are quite popular so keep scrolling to see what I’ve found.
