The Resort is a new Hulu series chock full of suspense, mystery, romance, and true crime. The show is about a disconnected couple, Emma and Noah, looking to re-spark romance on a 10 year anniversary trip to the Yucatán Peninsula. While on their Mexican getaway, Emma finds an old cellphone that belonged to a college aged boy named Sam who disappeared while vacationing there 15 years ago. The show flashes back to the budding romance between Sam and another disappearing guest, Violet, as Noah and Emma work together to solve the mystery and rekindle their love. Since The Resort takes place in a tropical jungle, the show’s fashion consists of breezy linen shirts and tank tops distressed from rummaging around in the ruins of a 15 year old mystery.
